Diltex Brands receives the “Sustainable Industry Merit” award

 Within the framework of the forum "Sustainable industry: strategies and opportunities for 2030", held in the Senate of the Republic, Diltex Brands, a leading company in the Mexican fashion industry, received the "Sustainable Industry Merit" recognition for the company's efforts in terms of social responsibility, sustainability and its contribution to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

"At Diltex Brands we are honored and grateful to receive the 'Sustainable Industry Merit' recognition, since sustainability and social responsibility are an essential part of our corporate vision and business model," said Bernardo Ayala, director of corporate marketing for the Mexican company .

The executive also took the opportunity to highlight the performance of his action and collaboration initiative "Conscious Fashion", thanks to which Diltex Brands has achieved a positive impact on society. "We know that there is still much to do, so we remain committed to working for human and environmental improvement," concluded Ayala.

 

Specifically, Diltex Brands Conscious Fashion initiative focuses on the following pillars: “environment”, with reductions in environmental impact through innovative solutions in its processes and supply chain; "Social", internal and external, promoting the improvement of the quality of life of the people in the communities where they operate, society in general and promoting the growth of its collaborators; and finally, "economic", contributing to the improvement of the economic environment in Mexico and the countries where they operate.

As has been announced, during the forum the "Pact of the Mexican Industry for the 2030 Agenda" was also signed, by the president of the Confederation of Industrial Chambers of the United Mexican States (Concamin), in the presence of the representation of the United Nations in Mexico, the Senate of the Republic and the Ministry of Economy.

With more than 70 years of history, Diltex Brands has in its portfolio brands such as Ilusión, Fiorentina, David's Bridal, and the lingerie brands Vassarette, Vanity Fair, Curvation and Fruit of the Loom, through its alliance with Fruit of the Loom.

In addition to Mexico, it is also present in Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Costa Rica, as well as in the Hispanic market in the United States. The company has more than 7,000 employees and has seven production plants in Mexico.
