The Mexican brand that stood out in the Fashion Transparency Index in Mexico 2021

The Group Illusion clothing brand Diltex Brands for the first time he was part of the second Transparency Index of Fashion in Mexico 2021, presented by Fashion Revolution and Arlenica.

31 brands and retailers were evaluated, 12 more brands compared to the 19 that were analyzed in 2020. Within the group, only 28 brands with national capital and three international ones were considered, mostly from the clothing sector.

In the case of Ilusión, some key points were highlighted, for which it ranks fourth among the 31 companies mentioned above, and first among national brands.

According to the organizers, the global average score obtained by the participants was 6% and from this, the 6 highest scores were established and where Ilusión obtained the fourth place with 15% qualification that places the brand above the average sectorial.

Ilusión participated in the strengthening spaces designed for companies to increase the transparency of their media, including their website. Regarding issues related to environmental initiatives, the Mexican brand was the only one that showed its commitments, objectives and goals to improve environmental impact, as well as its progress on the subject.

It is worth mentioning that Ilusión is one of the two Mexican brands that publish their carbon footprint or greenhouse gas emissions, under the Conscious Fashion manifesto that is applied to the brands that are part of the group. Diltex Brands.

Regarding traceability in the supply chain, the brand publishes its list of top-level suppliers and is part of the group that shares more information on this point.

On the other hand, the efforts made by the industry against Covid-19, a topic that was incorporated into this edition of the Index, Ilusión was part of the 35% of the participants who disclosed the protection measures in offices or stores to prevent infections, in addition, was considered in the 23% that it shared professional training programs or activities for its direct employees.

The objective of Fashion Transparency Index in Mexico is to increase competitiveness at a national and international level in order for brands to be catalysts for social and environmental well-being.
